Saint James Scholarship
For eligible students in post-secondary education
Saint James Episcopal Church has been blessed through the generations to be able to provide scholarships to eligible parishioners who are attending post-secondary education, including full-time or part-time enrollment in an associate, baccalaureate or graduate program.
These funds have been made possible by generous gifts and bequests to our endowment, with resources set aside specifically for use as scholarships. Saint James also awards a separate scholarship to parishioners in good standing who attend Millersville University. Recipients will be awarded based on a demonstrated commitment to regular worship at Saint James and service towards our parish and community, or to their college campus ministry or local church.
We are now accepting scholarship applications for the 2020 – 2021 academic year. The scholarship funds will be heavily weighted toward those individuals who are most actively involved in the life of the parish; however, it is anticipated that all applicants will be considered at some level.
On the application you will be asked to offer reflections on your faith, your sense of vocation, and your direct, current and active involvement at Saint James or an on-campus ministry at your college or university, or at a local church in the area where you attend college.
We encourage you to complete the application. Return the form along with the additional materials requested to:
