As we close out the month of March, when we celebrate and recognize the achievements and contributions of women across all fields, we are delighted to present a program featuring the choral works of women composers throughout history.

Women have long shaped the world of music, though their voices have often been overlooked or marginalized. From the medieval and Renaissance periods, where women like Hildegard of Bingen and Francesca Caccini composed innovative sacred and secular music, to the more recent works of contemporary composers, women have played a vital role in shaping the musical landscape.
