July 8 – 11 | online and at Saint James
Godly Play Retreat at Saint James is being offered for free to those who are experienced, new and/or interested in learning more about this form of ministry and storytelling.
The weekend will be a time of prayer, contemplation, laughter and play. For some this will be a familiar way of being and for others it will be nostalgic or an exploration of something different. Please come with open minds, hearts and anticipate enjoyment.
The retreat model is customized to accommodate our daily needs. In order to keep our days shorter and more suitable, there is some advance preparation that we will do together such as reading Teaching Godly Play: How to Mentor the Spiritual Development of Children.
After you have registered, you will receive a copy of the book along with the link for reflective questions. Those who are interested in Godly Play certification are strongly encouraged to attend all weekend workshops and worship opportunities for Godly Play certification.
