Our time together for both events begins at 11:00 AM in Lancaster County Park at Pavilion #3. (For GPS, use 1098 Rockford Rd, Lancaster, PA 17602)
The picnic is open to all and is unlimited! You do not have to bring food to attend, just please come and enjoy. If you’d like to bring a something for the picnic, click here to go to Signup Genius.
The Intergenerational Hike has a limit of 25 spots. Confirmed hikers will set off with a park naturalist at approximately 11:00 AM from the pavilion.
Picnic-only attendees will stay in the pavilion and enjoy a presentation from Nathan Grieser of RegenALL. Nathan, a minister himself, is responsible for outreach to faith-based groups. He will share an interesting and practical array of things congregations can do to engage in climate action together. RegenALL’s approaches are politically neutral and solutions-based.
When the hikers return, lunch will be served! Mission & Justice committee members are sponsoring the hamburgers and hot dogs, and will also be cooking them up to perfection. Held rain or shine, come on out and enjoy nature and an opportunity to fellowship with your Saint James Family!
