This bilingual service features The Rev. Yuri Rodriguez and the songs and stories of nine Latina women named Maria, displaced refugees who have journeyed far from their homelands in search of safety, dignity and belonging. Full of courage and hope, their stories come to life in this moving service.
These songs are their stories; this night is a celebration of faith, resilience, and community.
Following the service, we invite you to stay for a special time of community fellowship. You’ll have the opportunity to meet Yuri Rodriguez, connect with others doing meaningful work in the community, and enjoy delicious refreshments at our Noshes in the Narthex.
A reception celebrating Church World Service’s refugee support work will follow. All offerings collected during the service will be donated to support the work of Church World Service.
A continuación se realizará una recepción para celebrar el trabajo
de apoyo a los refugiados del Church World Service.
