The Kitchen with Jonathan Bancroft Colon

The kitchen is a magical space where transformation takes place. It is the place where the bounty of the county comes together. With knives, fire and time we take raw materials and transform them into life giving sustenance. This sustenance is not only physical but is also emotional, spiritual and communal. In this three-part class we will build our skills from the ground up. We will learn about the Saint James kitchen, knife skills and how to prepare a dish from scratch. Lunch will be served/created. Space is limited.

For middle and high school students. While it is best if you can make all three sessions, it is also okay to attend only one or two.

Classes will be held Sunday after the 10:30 service from 11:30-1:30
