The Word became Flesh (John 1: 1-14)
After a special appearance this past week by Tim Ternes, director of The Saint John’s Bible in Collegeville, Minnesota, we will officially commence our free online series this coming Tuesday. So if you couldn’t be with us earlier this week for the bonus session, there’s still time to sign up for this extraordinary opportunity to **pray, study, meditate and ask questions with over 100 other people** from the region and several other states.
Next week we delve into the first illumination, The Word Became Flesh. As we allow it to inspire us through the use of chants, scripture readings, prayer and meditation, we will ponder a number of questions, including how are people of faith and seekers encountering the Divine in unknown, known, and believable ways?
Fr. David Peck leads the series, joined by The Rev. Jim Strader-Sasser, Priest-in-Charge at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Danville, PA and The Rev. Dr. Howell Sasser, Rector at St. Thomas in Newark, Delaware.
Registration is for the entire series. If you are already registered, you don’t need to register again. Just log in next Tuesday. Registration for new participants will remain open through end of day Monday, June 8. All registrants will receive the Zoom link by email Tuesday morning, June 9.
