He has specialized in Tai Chi Chuan for over thirty years of those years. He has his Black Belt from the International Wushu Sanshou Dao Association. He has also trained in the following martial arts: grappling\, Shotokan Karate\, Wudang Karate\, Wing Chun\, Judo\, Xingyiquan\, Bagua\, and Aikido. He was awarded 16 top medals in regional\, national\, and two gold medals in international competitions. He has attended seminars and studied with some of the most well-known Tai Chi masters in the world\, some with direct connections to the founder of the Yang Family style. These include Yang  Zhen Dao\, Yang Jun\, Fu Shen Yuan\, Yang Jwing Ming\, and Shou Yu Liang.

DESCRIPTION:Children’s Chapel* meets weekly during the 10:30 AM Sunday Mass. Children and youth ages 3 and above begin the morning in the sanctuary where they can experience the processional and the opening congregational prayers. \nAfter the opening Collect\, children are invited to the front of the sanctuary to make their way to the chapel and participate in songs\, prayers\, brief meditation and storytelling of the day’s Gospel and/or New and Old Testament readings. \nThe Godly Play® teaching method includes using beautiful wooden figures\, candles\, and symbolic colors to aid our storytelling as we listen to God’s word for us. Children often respond to the story using simple art supplies including crayons\, construction paper\, origami paper and Model Magic air dry clay. \nChildren return to the Sanctuary during the passing of the Peace. They are welcome to take part in Holy Communion.

This series is rooted in the wisdom of the 12 Steps\, something that the co-founders of Alcoholics Anonymous believed everyone could benefit from. \nRecovery is not limited to one experience or one path. Many of us are recovering from something—alcohol or substance use\, codependency\, grief\, stress\, burnout\, perfectionism\, anxiety\, illness\, major life transitions\, old patterns\, or the places where we have felt disconnected from ourselves\, others\, our bodies\, or a sense of meaning. \nThrough gentle yoga\, reflection\, breath\, and conversation\, this series offers a welcoming space to explore what it means to pause\, listen inward\, and take the next step toward wholeness. \nEach week will focus on a different movement through the 12 Steps:\nWeek 1: Honesty\, Hope\, and Surrender\nWeek 2: Looking Within\, Awareness\, and Letting Go\nWeek 3: Healing\, Connection\, and Continuing the Journey \nParticipants are welcome to attend one class or the full series.
