Blessing Buckets

Helping women in need of a fresh start!

Sponsored in part by Beth Shalom and ALERT*

When women leave prison, they leave with nothing. But in order to be elegible for housing assistance through Beth Shalom, mothers must clean their apartment before they move in and are reunited with their children.

We can help these women get a fresh start by donating Blessing Buckets filled with cleaning supplies.

Recommended items include the following:

  • bucket
  • mops
  • floor cleaner
  • rolls of paper towels
  • all-purpose cleaners
  • glass cleaner
  • liquid dish soap
  • dish towels
  • toilet brushes
  • rubber gloves
  • dust spray
  • sponges
  • cleaning cloths

Bring your blessing buckets to the cloister narthex before or after the service. Look for the blessing bucket sign!

Drop-off dates:

Sunday, June 6
Sunday, June 13

A lovely addition to each bucket would be prayer cards and notes of encouragement.  Buckets will be blessed before distributing! Can’t get a Blessing Bucket together? Click here to make a donation directly to Beth Shalom (use the donate button).
