Opportunities to Learn New Spiritual Disciplines
In addition to our weekly meditation services and learning sessions, we have additional times and events to broaden your spiritual foundation.
Seasonal Sit Spot Meditations: Sometime during each of the four seasons, we travel to a nearby farm to spend a couple of hours simply sitting and noticing our surroundings, paying attention to how God may be speaking to each of us through the wonder of his creation.
Retreats and Events: We organize two to three silent retreat weeks each year through local retreat centers and monasteries. We also host an annual contemplative day or weekend-long event with a contemplative speaker or author.
Spiritual Direction: Spiritual direction is the art of sitting with a trained director who helps you become more aware of God’s presence and activity in your life as you learn to respond to him with your whole being; heart, head, body, soul.
Yoga: Throughout the year, we offer weekly yoga sessions in Hatha and Iyengar yoga helping individuals to connect their bodies to their spiritual journey.
