SUMMARY:Children's Chapel
DESCRIPTION:Children’s Chapel* meets weekly during the 10:30 AM Sunday Mass. Children and youth ages 3 and above begin the morning in the sanctuary where they can experience the processional and the opening congregational prayers. \nAfter the opening Collect\, children are invited to the front of the sanctuary to make their way to the chapel and participate in songs\, prayers\, brief meditation and storytelling of the day’s Gospel and/or New and Old Testament readings. \nThe Godly Play® teaching method includes using beautiful wooden figures\, candles\, and symbolic colors to aid our storytelling as we listen to God’s word for us. Children often respond to the story using simple art supplies including crayons\, construction paper\, origami paper and Model Magic air dry clay. \nChildren return to the Sanctuary during the passing of the Peace. They are welcome to take part in Holy Communion.

DESCRIPTION:Saint James offers opportunities for spiritual growth in smaller group settings that meet every week throughout the year. Whether it is a book group\, a Bible study\, or a discussion group\, we seek to offer diverse offerings to grow deeper in our faith through community and encouragement from each other. \n\nWomen’s Gathering is a lay-led group that explores topics related to faith and spiritual practices and periodically seeks outside sources and opportunities to deepen their experience. The Women’s Gathering typically meets on Saturday mornings for fellowship\, study\, prayer\, and worship. \nPlease check the Events Calendar for specific Saturdays each month. SUMMARY:Children's Chapel
DESCRIPTION:Children’s Chapel* meets weekly during the 10:30 AM Sunday Mass. Children and youth ages 3 and above begin the morning in the sanctuary where they can experience the processional and the opening congregational prayers. \nAfter the opening Collect\, children are invited to the front of the sanctuary to make their way to the chapel and participate in songs\, prayers\, brief meditation and storytelling of the day’s Gospel and/or New and Old Testament readings. \nThe Godly Play® teaching method includes using beautiful wooden figures\, candles\, and symbolic colors to aid our storytelling as we listen to God’s word for us. Children often respond to the story using simple art supplies including crayons\, construction paper\, origami paper and Model Magic air dry clay. \nChildren return to the Sanctuary during the passing of the Peace. They are welcome to take part in Holy Communion.
