Event Series: Saturday Night Mass

Addiction & Recovery Mass

September 13 @ 5:00 PM

Join JR Ankney and the Duke Street Band for an Addiction and Recovery Mass—a journey of hope and healing. The program will feature songs including “Unstoppable” by Sia, “Hurt” by Trent Reznor & Johnny Cash, “Wise Up” by Aimee Mann, “Then Came the Morning” by The Lone Bellow, “Sober” by Kelly Clarkson, and Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”

The Addiction and Recovery Masses at Saint James focus on hope and confidence in the abundance of God’s grace for those who have faced or are currently facing the isolation and darkness of addiction.

ALL are welcome: the broken, the suffering, the homeless, addicts, alcoholics, and families who have endured the pain of addictive behaviors. This Mass is for you—whether you are the addict or a friend or family member of an addict—who has experienced the pain and suffering caused by the disease of addiction. Remember, you are not alone.
