Saint James Scholarship

For eligible students in post-secondary education

Saint James Episcopal Church is fortunate to offer scholarships to eligible parishioners pursuing post-secondary education, whether full-time or part-time, in various academic programs. These scholarships are made possible by generous donations to our endowment, specifically earmarked for this purpose.

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting scholarship applications for the 2024-25 academic year.

Preference will be given to individuals actively engaged in the parish, school, or community. Recipients will be recognized by June 30. We are excited to include immediate family members of staff, such as children and grandchildren, in the application process. Applicants will be asked to share their thoughts on faith, school and community involvement, as well as their active participation at Saint James, on-campus ministries, or local churches near their college.

Saint James Episcopal Church has been blessed through the generations to be able to provide scholarships to eligible parishioners who are attending post-secondary education, including full-time or part-time enrollment in an associate, baccalaureate or graduate program. These funds have been made possible by generous gifts and bequests to our endowment, with resources set aside specifically for use as scholarships.

We are delighted to announce that we now are accepting scholarship applications for the 2024 - 2025 academic year. The scholarship funds will be heavily weighted toward those individuals who are actively involved in the life of the parish, school and or community. Scholarship recipients will be acknowledged in June. We are excited to extend the application process to immediate family of staff members, including children and grandchildren.

Applicants will be asked to offer reflections on faith, school and community engagement, direct, current and active involvement at Saint James, an on-campus ministry or local church in the college or university community.
