Event Series Event Series: Kids’ Compassion Camp

Kids’ Camp

July 22 @ 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

July 22 through July 26

6:00 – 8:00 PM

For Children ages 5 – 11

This year’s theme is “Compassion Camp: What Every Living Thing Needs.” Each evening, children will explore the basic needs of all living things such as food, shelter, water, air, and community. They will also learn about showing compassion towards the living earth, especially in their local ecosystems. By practicing awareness, gratitude, wonder, reciprocity, and kinship, participants will understand how to care for God’s creation and the interconnectedness of all life on earth. The camp will conclude with a swim party and dinner at Gene & Kristy Clark’s Home on Friday. The registration deadline is Friday, July 7th.
