Registration for this event is now closed.
Join Church World Service Lancaster and Saint James on June 20, World Refugee Day, for Dinner for a Difference and an interfaith gathering as we stand in solidarity with the more than 110 million displaced people worldwide who have been forced to flee their homes. Members of the HereHere CWS Lancaster New Neighbors Speakers Bureau will share their own journeys to safety and reflect on the global crisis in forced migration. To learn more, view the video below.
Did you know?
Less than 1% of those who have been forced to flee will find safety in resettlement to a third country like the United States, often after years of displacement. Instead, migrants, refugees, and people seeking asylum often face continued challenges and persecution as they work to keep their families safe and rebuild their lives.
Hundreds of new refugee neighbors join our Lancaster County communities each year after fleeing violence and persecution in their home countries. Together we can welcome new refugee neighbors and empower them with friendship and support!
