Spring Renewal Yoga Series
Exploring movement, breath and wellness

Thursdays in May | 6:15 - 7:45 PM
The Urban Well Yoga Studio, 119 N Duke Street
This 4-week introductory yoga series is designed for both new and returning students seeking a thoughtful, supportive way to reconnect with their bodies. Together, we’ll explore yoga as a practice of whole-person care through movement, breathwork, reflection and gentle wellness education.
Each session offers a different entry point into renewal while building on the previous session in a way that feels accessible, grounded and practical for everyday life.
May 7 | Yoga Foundations, Grounding and Holistic Care
The first session will offer a welcoming introduction to the series through simple yoga foundations, grounding practices and breath awareness. This session is designed to help students feel comfortable in the studio, understand how yoga can support overall well-being, and begin the series with steadiness and curiosity. The evening will also include a broader look at holistic support for the body and mind.
Featuring Ally Gregg and Sarah Shelton
May 14 | Resting, Breathwork and Inner Awareness
The second session will delve deeper into yoga as a tool for stress reduction and everyday resilience. This class will include a longer movement sequence, breathwork, and discussion of the nervous system, including the difference between sympathetic and parasympathetic states. Students will be invited to explore how breath and pacing can support steadiness, awareness and care in daily life.
Featuring Sarah Shelton
May 21 | Seasonal Renewal and Sound Meditation
The third session will shift into a more restorative tone, inviting students to slow down and make space for renewal. This evening will include a shorter grounding sequence, reflections on renewal and seasonal transition, and an extended sound meditation to support integration, rest and deep listening.
Featuring Sandra Orndorff and Sarah Shelton
May 28 | Embodied Spirituality and Daily Life
The final session will focus on how yoga and reflective practice can support daily life beyond the studio. Through movement, breath, and conversation, participants will be invited to consider how practices of presence, care, and spiritual awareness can carry into everyday routines and relationships.
