Event Series: Healing the Divide

Healing the Divide

September 23 @ 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Healing the Divide: Being less reactive in difficult conversations

Fall Series: September 23 – November 18
7:00 – 8:00 PM
Available in person and via Zoom

Led by Jen Donovan with Mother Stacey and Father David, Healing the Divide is a 9-week journey into deeper listening, compassionate presence and building bridges across differences. In a world that often feels divided, this group creates a safe and curious space where we can slow down, ground ourselves, and practice being fully present with one another—even when we disagree. Each week, we’ll learn simple yet powerful tools for honest sharing and deep listening amidst political conflicts and divisions.

Through trauma-informed practices, grounding exercises and small-group conversations, participants will discover new ways to communicate that honor both themselves and others. If you long for conversations that heal rather than divide, this will provide you with tools to listen more deeply, speak more honestly, and practice empathy in ways that ripple outward into your family, church, and broader communities.

The group will meet in person and via Zoom on Tuesday evenings, September 23rd – November 18th, in the Chapel, from 7:00 – 8:00 PM. Attend all 9 weeks, or drop in to classes as your schedule allows. Click here to register.
